disappointed in its durability
We use it on the average 2 times a month to make bread dough and to grind our own burger (using Kitchen Aid meat grinding attachment). After about 2 years of use, something went wrong. The motor still runs but nothing moves. We jiggled the output plate a bit then the gear inside engaged and it ran. However, after turn it off, the problem reappeared. This machine also has a tendency to shut itself off when kneading dough to prevent over heating. Bought this Professional HD model from Costco and sadly had to return it.

Now I've only had this mixer for about a week but so far it's fabulous! It kneads 2 loaves of bread dough without any problems. Does not seem to struggle at all. I've made muffins, pizza dough, chocolate chip cookies, you name it! So far, I'm very impressed!
KitchenAid Mixer Great!
I love this mixer and I have waited so long to find one I could afford. This arrived very timely matter, packed perfectly so there was no damage. It was sparkling clean and in perfect condition. I love it, it whips up some frosting in no time. This was a very good purchase and I am completely satisfied.
